Lower Mainland Peer Network

Welcome! The LMPN has the following network objectives to support communities from the Fraser Valley, Metro Vancouver and Squamish Lillooet Regional Districts to:

  • Support staff from municipalities, regional districts, and Indigenous communities to share knowledge, replicate learnings, and adapt high-impact actions to their context.
  • Increase information sharing between local and other levels of government and partners regarding relevant resources and updates on policies, programs, and funding.
  • Build professional connections and relationships while providing a supportive and positive climate community.
  • Facilitate the exchange of valuable mentorship and provide foundational climate education for staff.
  • Encourage local/regional innovation, research, and bold decision-making

Network Content

Network content will focus on the following action areas:

  • Regional scale implementation plans
  • Opportunities for advocacy
  • Direct connection with province
  • Cross cutting and multi sectoral learning opportunities
  • Effective communication tactics
  • Aligning and coordinating on provincial targets
