About the Peer Networks

Facilitated by the Community Energy Association, the Peer Networks foster regional collaboration and support community-based action on high-priority climate issues. The networks offer knowledge sharing, resources, and connection for local government staff and elected officials in BC and Alberta.

Since 2009, over 1,000 members have joined the Peer Networks in order to advance their own community’s climate priorities. These are venues to move from learning to activation: learning how to replicate efforts from fellow communities, adapting solutions to the local context, and collaborating to amplify impacts across regions.
