Collaboration Nation Framework

This report presents a proposed framework for a First Nations home energy efficiency peer network. The framework is developed for the Collaboration Nation project that called for research and engagement to understand how a peer network could support First Nations to complete home energy efficiency upgrades. A strong need for a peer network was identified specifically for increased knowledge sharing, capacity building, and collaboration among First Nations with regards to home energy efficiency.

The framework is built around three interconnected components:
1) Framework Pillars to establish guiding principles of peer learning, relationships building and collaboration,
2) Framework Content which focuses on desired priority areas of information sharing and capacity building, and
3) Framework Structure that outlines how the network could operate through regular online meetings and workshops, an annual in-person gathering and a centralized online repository of resources and templates.
