Embodied Emissions Peer Network

Who can join the network? Open to all staff from municipalities, regional districts, and Indigenous communities in BC. Also, open to staff from other levels of government, utilities, academic institutions, and other municipally adjacent organizations upon invitation.  

Who runs this network? This EEPN is an initiative of Carbon Leadership Forum British Columbia (CLF BC), BC’s Embodied Emissions Centre of Excellence and is an ongoing collaboration between CEA and CLF BC, a program of the Zero Emissions Innovation Centre. 

Purpose of this Network:

  • Accelerate local government understanding and adoption of Embodied Emissions reduction strategies;
  • Prepare local governments for the successful implementation of Embodied Emissions targets and policies; and
  • Provide a communication channel between local governments to collaborate and learn from each other.
