Trajectory of Awesomeness for BC Elected Officials

We are very excited to offer an opportunity to strengthen collaboration across your region with this free training program for local governments, designed by Gwen Bridge of Gwen Bridge Consulting. Through four pre-recorded virtual sessions, participants will build the foundational knowledge needed to enhance relationships with Indigenous Communities. You will develop a grounding in Ethical Space, Indigenous worldviews, and law.

On June 11th, we invite you to a live virtual Q&A session with Gwen. We strongly encourage you to watch all four recordings before attending the live session. Links to each recording will be emailed to you on a weekly basis leading up to the June 11th session.

This learning aims to strengthen regional resilience alongside First Nations and support emergency and disaster management act engagement. This training marks the beginning of a longer journey—one that will continue to grow through ongoing work within our networks of local government staff and elected officials.

This project is carried out with funding from the Federation of Canadian Municipalities’ Green Municipal Fund and the Government of Canada.
